Geraint Jones holds the distinguished record of being Papua New Guinea's first Test cricketer. He was raised in Australia,
a fact he is likely to be reminded of by the tourists this summer. Jones has impressed with the bat in his brief Test career
but doubts still remain over his glovework. Coach Duncan Fletcher is happy to stick with the 29-year-old because he is capable
of scoring hundreds at No.7, something he demonstrated against New Zealand at Headingley last year. If the cricket doesn't
work out for Jones he always has a second career to fall back on as he's a qualified pharmacy technician.
